The love of a Grandmother…

This past holiday was, without a doubt, 3x more special for Catherine. Why? Well, because she had three of her most favorite people – in the entire world – visiting her from Texas: her son, Sean and her two gorgeous granddaughters, Ajale’ & Akacia. (Yes, Catherine is a Grandmother… yea, I know – I didn’t believe it either.  Doesn’t she look amazing?!?)

As their week together began, Catherine set out to make this time with them magical – one the girls would never forget. From going to the Nutcracker in fancy dresses to sledding in the mountains – she provided them with countless family memories that these two girls will always treasure. But, what I loved most is that Catherine could see clearly how special this time in her life is and in the lives of her granddaughters and she wanted to capture it.  (This is where I come in! YAY!)  So, she called me and we set up a photo session. Our goal was to not only create incredible photos, but to make the photo session a wonderful memory in itself. So… we had fun, we were silly, we laughed, we gave hugs and posed “in style” –  and when we were all done – I asked the girls “On a scale of 1 to 10 – how much fun did you have?” I got a resounding 1000! How great are these girls?  Well, pretty darn great!

Thank you Catherine for welcoming me into your amazing world for a few short hours to capture these memories for your family. Truly an honor.

Below are a few of my fav’s from our time together…

Yes, I said Catherine was a Grandmother!?!  Catherine, I still can’t believe it.  You look amazing!!

Mom & Son… makes me smile!

After our time outside, we went back to Catherine’s home and made some banana bread… I just love these photos.

This is my favorite! Cooking with Grandma… does it get any better? What an awesome memory for these girls to have captured forever. Love.
