Workshop with Audrey Woulard… and some amazing new friends!

I never want to stop learning… about anything and everything in life. That is just how I am… one question always leads to another question that I want to find the answer to.

But when it comes to photography, I have always wanted to learn from Audrey Woulard. She is a crazy talented children’s photographer and business woman based out of Chicago and so when the opportunity came up to attend a workshop at her natural light studio… I was all over it.

The moment I sat down on the first day of the workshop, I instantly liked Audrey. She is candid, approachable, honest, smart, generous with her ideas and supportive of your dreams… and well, I really like that in a person. She is a success because she took risks, was deliberate in her business approach and worked dang hard. Her work and thriving business are the beautiful result of this. I took so much from the weekend that I will be incorporating into my own business and am so excited to see where it will all lead! YAY!

It was a small, intimate workshop – my favorite … and I have to say, probably the most unexpected blessing of the weekend, were the friendships I made with these women from all over North America. The women, just like me, are eager to learn, want to be better photographers and run amazing businesses… and man, I think the future is so bright for every single one of us! It gets me so excited!

We got the chance to shoot side-by-side with Audrey, and I thought I would share a few from my day.

Here is a photo, thanks to Patti Hale, of our entire group…
